Henry Kissinger appeared principally in Daniel Mosley's testimony as the client who introduced Mosley to Theranos and asked him to assess Holmes and the company. The proceedings also connected Kissinger to introductions made through Mosley and to Roger Parloff's research for the Fortune profile.
Henry Kissinger
Former U.S. secretary of state and former Theranos board member.
About
Henry Kissinger figured principally in Daniel Mosley's testimony as Mosley's client and the person who introduced him to Theranos. Mosley testified that Kissinger said he sat on the company's board and asked Mosley to learn about Elizabeth Holmes and Theranos and report his views. Mosley reviewed company materials, spoke with Holmes, and prepared a preliminary memorandum intended only for Kissinger before continuing his diligence and later making his own investment.
Mosley also described introductions to Holmes that he made at Kissinger's request, while distinguishing those introductions from encouraging investment. Roger Parloff separately identified Kissinger among the contacts consulted during research for his Fortune profile.
